Maria Olson, Director of the US Department of State's Southeast Europe Office, visited Eduact

The Eduact Educational Organization was visited by the Director of the South East Europe Office of the US Department of State, Mrs. Maria Olson, accompanied by the US Consul General in Thessaloniki, Elizabeth Lee, for a tour of the site where the Thessaloniki Tech Lab will soon open, an initiative supported by the US Embassy in Greece. In the discussion that followed, reference was made to the vision of

Thessaloniki Tech Lab, the activities and events that will take place, and also proposals for the activation of the local community, and the organization of actions for the local community’s benefit.

Of particular interest were the reports on the connection between Greece and the United States, and the way in which it will be integrated into the actions of the Thessaloniki Tech Lab. Representative of this long-term relationship was the presence of four students from Indiana State universities at the event, who are currently in Thessaloniki as part of an exchange program, while also contributing to Eduact's activities.
